Successful People Are Positive People

Bosses always seem harsh. Business people always seem brash. Coaches always seem to question your ability. Leaders question your heart. Parents question your decisions and people in general just seem to doubt you. It seems like a pretty negative world when you think about it. The problem is, the more negative you become, the more you become a failure. The more you question things, the more un-reliable you will become.
Excuses are the things you think of so that you can get out of responsibility. Responsibility is what makes you who you are. You determine whether you are successful or not by your approach to life. Your approach will always determine the results you see, always.
You might think that this is impossible, or ill founded, but it's not. Here's why the one who believes all things are possible will refuse to use excuses. Failure is not a result, it's a mirror. It shows you not only your approach, but your mindset and how it has affected your life.
If you have ever failed at anything it is a result of not only how you practiced; but more importantly it shows you that you are failing in many areas outside of "practice".
Now I'm not talking about sports, I'm talking about what you're doing in your off time away from work, career or destiny. Your family life is vital to success in your career. You can't treat your kids like garbage, cheat on your wife, do drugs and expect to be successful. It just doesn't work like that.
Remember your Dad telling you as a kid to "Take care of the small things and the rest will worry about itself". You knew what that meant. Do your part, keep your values, do your family name well and things would always work out. Some how though now you have the mentality that if you work enough hours, you'll be successful.
Success can't be bought and it cannot be sold. Success is being proud of who you are and who God made you. Its believing life is good, even though it doesn't look like it. It's saying it'll be ok when all you want to say is I quit.
Successful people believe in themselves. They have a positive mental image of themselves and a never say die attitude. In life there is always way never to lose. Never quit. If you don't quit, you win, all the time, every time.
People who are successful always have a great self image. How do you see yourself?
